winning is good. and it is good reason to be jubiliant, to party and the likes.
the local corporators (or wotever have been elected recently in Aundh,
Pune) too have reason to be happy - the ones who won that is.

their happiness knew no bounds, as they felt the need to 'address the
people' and have a (self-)congratulatory 'sohla' (marathi)
while that may still be accepted, their choice of location for the
public address was commendable.
two days ago, bang where the old DP road ends (into Bangalore bakery),
these chaps put up a stage and make loads of noise.

and make difficult, if not impossible, to move across a road that is:
1. thin
2. encroached
3. potholed
4. dim lit ? (not sure!)
etc.

and in doing this feat, i was capable. my rear tire wasnt, and hit a
few punctures.

[and now we are getting to the point!]

lucky we were to find this helpful chap, who locates 2 bubbly spots
and mends em. and then the third one.

time to pay up. and i happily show him a 20-er and ask 'kitna?'
the chap says 'ye to bees hain, lekin apna pachas hua'

i took a while to return to normalcy when i realised i had paid up,
and had started driving towards Medipoint. and thought.. when was the
last time i got a puncture repaired. and how much did it cost ?!
