Chrome in IE
Bumped into Google Chrome Frame and this was a nice respite from my firm-mandated IE.
I also set it as the DefaultRenderer (see here for editing the registry) and voila, IE is my favorite browser now :-)

pune to raigad and back
saturday saw us drive to Raigad and back.
we went Pune->Bhor->Mahad->Raigad (200kms)
It took a full 7 hours of ambling on bad roads to get to the ropeway base.. 7 hours !
For the return trip, someone suggested that we go via Mangaon and then ask for
'the road to Pune'.. this too wasn't helpful.. it took a comparable 6 hours (160kms) and more or less the same number of potholes, give or take a few thou !!
